How to improve the Productivity of your TO-DO List by 10x!
by Naveen Sharma – Founder of Ashmayu Yoga
Q Do you know what is the secret to achieving unimaginable success? A. It is the “Planning before Executing”
If you don’t plan WELL, soon you will find yourself in a WELL!
Whenever we talk about planning, the first thing comes to the mind is to prepare a To-Do list.
And it is true that planning your day on a To-Do list and following it 100% can help you achieve more in less.
But most often it is seen that we prepare a To-Do list only focusing on the tasks which are external in nature e.g. office work.
Another most common fact about the To-Do list is that, it becomes quite difficult for people to follow it completely.
What is the reason? Mostly the To-Do lists are made in the morning with a fresh mind wherein you are very optimistic about all the work that you have in your mind and it makes you feel you would be able to achieve it by end of the day.
Reality: As the day passes, you start losing out on your energy and thereby it starts affecting your mind which in turn affects your willingness and productivity to achieve everything mentioned in the list.
What is the problem? The problem is that you planned everything on your To-Do list that you want your body and mind to achieve for you, but you didn’t plan anything on how to prepare and train your body and mind to achieve the targets in your To-Do List.
The essence of the success, life, happiness or health is not in bigger things that you do, it’s the smaller things that bring a difference in everything that we want to achieve.
Same is the case with our To-Do list.
